    Re: Celebration Celebration

    Wow--what an accomplishment!

ADBB has come to mean so much to me because of the wonderful people here who call it home. They cheer with you when you win and cry with you when you lose. They know where you're coming from when you really--really want a cookie! I love the support and encouragement that fills the forums.

I spend my time here because the forum is filled with hope and in turn it fills me with the same. I know my journey will not be a lonely one because I'm following in the footsteps of 30,000 others who have completed, are on, or are just beginning/restarting their own.

                  Re: Celebration Celebration

First of all I would like to thank the administration, mods, hostesses and all the wonderful people here at the ADBB. It is the greatest board on the net!

I kinda stumbled across the ADBB by accident when searching for something else Atkins related. I started to read the posts as a guest and when I realized what valuable information, motivation and encouragement I could receive from you all, I had to join. It was the best decision I could have made for my own health.

Now 4.5 months later, healthier and 26lbs lighter, not only have I made low carb eating my WOL I have met many wonderful people that I call my friends.

You are all such a blessing in my life. I appreciate each and every one of you and without you this journey would have been far less fun!

                  Thanks one and all!

                    Re: Celebration Celebration

30,000 is an awesome milestone! WOO HOO!

Thank you everyone: Tom, Admins, Mods, Hosts, Hostesses and Members all. Together you make ADBB a hugely special place.

Apart from the wealth of information, support and inspiration that I've gained from ADBB over the last few years, this has been (and still is) a special haven for me for another reason:

Living here in Italy, where there are so few Atkineers, I know I'd have felt very lonesome doing Atkins, had it not been for this board. Having been able to keep in contact here, with so many people sharing the same goals, has been a tremendous crutch for me, in times of (dietary) difficulty.

                    THANK YOU ADBB!

                      Re: Celebration Celebration

Wow, what a great accomplishment for ADBB, the members and anyone who is going through doubts, fears and frustration trying to get a handle on their weight problems. I can say without a doubt that the ADBB has been a life-saver for me. Dr. Atkins devised the plan - but the friendship and the information here helps me keep learning the techniques to change my thinking and develop plans to achieve goals in all areas of my life. Thank you Tom for making this support board and bringing us all together to encourge and motivate each other.

Being a part of such a great group has helped me get in touch with myself, learn to deal with ups/downs that occur in life and challenge myself to gain self-confidence and improve my life more than I can say. Thanks to all of you!

Dedication gives wings to our dreams and keeps them in flight! In One Word...COMMITTMENT.

I have to say that I was very very relieved to find this board still here when I returned three years after my first time round. Where others have fallen, ADBB has survived the test of time.

30,000---Wow, that's more than the population of the town I live in!

Thanks to all who make this board possible. Tom, Moderators, Administrators and all the great people who listen and care and keep us all motivated.

I found this board within a week of when I started Atkins--I'm so glad, because I had not "gotten" all the rules of doing Atkins. This helped me to straighten out and do this WOE correctly. Almost 7 months later, I'm 63 pounds down and at a size I haven't been in 25 years. I'm healthier, happier and determined to get to goal. This board helped motivate me to exercise by joining in challenges and have some accountability. Thanks so much for the difference this Board has made in my life.

Looking forward to when we hit 60,000!
