    Goalie Alert !

    We all knew it would happen! We were rooting her on, encouraging her, reading all of her encouraging posts to others, we were waiting and waiting and today...

    MITZIMARIE reached her goal!

    She did Atkins back in 2003 and lost quite a bit of weight. She joined ADBB in 2006 and starting February of this year she gave it her all!

    I urge you to read some of Mitzi's posts. She is a kind and supportive person who has a very clear understanding of how this WOE works. Her diligence and hard work has paid off in a truly amazing transformation.

        Congratulations Mitzi! You look absolutely fantastic and I know that you feel every bit as good as you look!

        Since I arrived here you have been a total inspiration for me (and I know I am not alone in that) and the wisdom and encouragement you have shared with so many here are beyond value.

          What I know:
          1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
          2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
          3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
          4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

                Woohoo Mitzi! You really are a great person. I'm not surprised at all to read that you've hit your goal. You've made it clear that Atkins is your true WOL and your determination and desire comes through in your posts. Way to go, I'm so happy for you!

                  I'm so excited for you! Congratulations... you worked darn hard. And you look terrific... the difference between your before and current pictures is incredible. You are absolutely adorable!

                  And more importantly, as Silly said, you are such a great source of support and positive influence on this board. We've all "gained" from your losses.

                        Good Evening, dear friends

                        I've been away from home most of the day, and it was so wonderful to come here tonight and see these amazing posts. Words cannot describe the depth of my gratitude for this board. I sincerely could not have met my goal without it. There is such a wealth of information and support here! Many, many thanks to the adminstrators, moderators, and members who contribute here. I have learned so much, and made so many friends. I intend to stay here forever, and hope that I can help others as much as all of you have helped me.
