    Sunny Celebrates 1 Year at ADBB!

    Yeah! I am celebrating my one-year anniversary here at . It has been a gloriously wonderful year in which I have been challenged, made friends, found great recipes and low carb recipe sites, made friends, gave advice, got advice, made friends, became a supporting member, made friends, started my own challenges, but most important: I made friends!

    I truly believe I would have never made it this far without the help of this board and one other that I belonged to. I outgrew the other board, but not this one. I know I would have treated this WOE/WOL as a diet without the support and guidance that I got from this forum!

    I salute you, all my friends, on my first anniversary! May we all be here for many more!

          Congratulations Sunny, you have done a fantastic job. I enjoy reading your post seeing all the support and good advice you share. Keep it up.

          What I know:
          1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
          2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
          3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
          4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

              okok.......here is my plan for today, being the big college football fan that i am:

              gonna watch uga vs georgia tech at 3:30pm today and i pledge to do a pushup for every point scored in that game (both teams).....but if knowshon moreno should score any touchdowns....well, i will do 2 pushups for every point he scores.

              and then,

              gonna watch missouri vs kansas at 8pm and i will do a pushup for every point scored in that game, too.

              so how many pushups will i be doing today, lol......i dont know, it could be well over 100 if they are high scoring games or under 50 if they are defensive battles.

              aren't there any other college football fans at ADBB???

                Congratulations Sunny! 1 year is great! I agree, without this board this WOULD be 'just another diet' that I would have blown long ago... Congratulations on all your success! Good to have you here! You're an inspiration to us all!

                          Hi Sunny You are wonderful. i thought you'd been here forever, you have such wonderful advise. A year isn't that long for such amazing success. I hope to be as determined and dedicated as you have been. do you have a before picture of yourself that I can see?

                              One year! Thanks for all the help and encouragment you've given me and so many others in that time. You really are a wonderful person and it makes me happy to know that you are around making everyone's weight loss journey just that much easier.
