    A Special Goalie Anniversary

    I'm sure there's not one person who hasn't met

    Jimmie 48

    at some point in their travels around this board.

    Jimmie came to ADBB on 7/14/2004. She lost a total of 43 pounds and reached her goal on 12/2/2005. This means that she has been faithfully maintaining for two full years now.

    She is often one of the first people anyone meets on this board and has helped so many evolve into lifetime WOL-ers. More importantly, she supports us all in this WOE, and continues to be supportive to anyone that meets her.

    Please give a shout out to Jimmie 48.

    CONGRATULATIONS ON MAINTAINING FOR 2 YEARS!

        40 year old male 6' 3"

        What I know:
        1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
        2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
        3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
        4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

                  it's been some rough going at times with this maintaining thing but i'm hanging in there. i've found myself a few pounds over what I THINK i should be but what i think and reality is, may be two different things.

                    Jimmie, congratulations on maintaining! You work hard to maintain: I see you everyday in the exercise challenges. Your commitment and hard work are a reminder to me that this lifestyle is a lifelong commitment, a daily commitment, that is never "finished". Thank you for all you do for us here at ADBB!

                          all you young kiddos need to get to goal while your young! it's just so much harder when you get some years on you. get fit now so you don't have the age thing to deal with.
