Here's to another month of staying on the ball (yes, pun intended!) and working our cores and muscles in different ways.
We may be a small group compared to other exercise challenges, but we're a DEVOTED group and if I sound like a proud mama, well...I am! I'm proud of what we've accomplished and the camaraderie that we've shared. If you care to join us for the July group, feel free to join us here.
Now, on with the celebrations (in alphabetical order).....
biogeek (bio, that's me!) = 400/400 minutes
hrgillespie (heidi, devoted to the ball, family & friends!) = 301/300 minutes
jimmie 48 (Jo, cancer-survivor and super-duper mod!) = 150/150 minutes
But wait! we also have "heidijo," who should now be dubbed "heidijobio," who chalks up 379/300 minutes!
What the?!? What's up with the heidijobio member? Well, it all started when Jo found out she couldn't do her ball exercises anymore because she was fighting the cancer, and Heidi decided to add Jo's usual minutes to her own exercise routine. Hence, heidijo was created.
Now this month, Jo is doing TONS better and even went over her goal of 150 minutes and donated her extra minutes (28 to be exact) to heidijo. Bio (yeah, feels weird to refer to myself in the 3rd person), not wanting to be left out in the giving department, donated her extra minutes (50 of 'em) to heidijo, so now we have heidijobio.
So to all three of us who have stretched, flexed, pushed, pulled, balanced, cored our way to fitness on the stability ball for a total of 1239 minutes, I give you this award:

Now that you're back on your feet and on the ball, you get to keep track of heidijobio minutes! LOL Actually, it wasn't that bad to do.

oh, I just got goosebumps reading that wonderful explaination, Bio! Congrats to all of you! What a blessing to read, for sure.
