    I joined last September. When I joined, I weighed 372. My current weight is 298. I had reached a low of 287 but gained a few pounds back.

    Low carb is definately the way to go to lose weight fast but if you dont follow it strictly, when you add carbs back, the weight will come on twice as fast, lol.
    34 year old male, 5'9 tall.

    Started Atkins 8/21/07
    Starting wgt 372
    347 - MET(10/9/07)
    334 - MET(10/23/07)
    Mini Goal - 299 MET FINALLY (4-16-0
    Mini Goal - 275

        Hi,

        I joined a few septembers ago I believe. I restarted atkins this last time the first of April at 174, 15 pounds down from my highest weight. I made it down to 151 and had a bunch of things that got me off track. I started again two days ago at 155, am doing well so far, down to 153 and ready to get things back on track! I missed you guys

          I started September 1rst of this year and am down 5lbs. after my first week of induction.

          Second goal: 179 - reached Nov.08/08
          Third goal: 169 - reached just before Christmas
          got down to 154 by spring but got off track & went up 10
          Next Goal - To stop dickin' around and meet GW by Dec 30 2009

              Okay, I'm back again and ready to go, this time doing some exercise instead of sitting on the couch the whole time!
              I'm back up to 158 after getting down to 148 and HAVE to lose at least 7 pounds in the next month -- I have a big wedding to go to with tons of relatives I haven't seen in years and years. The wedding is the 18th of October, gulp.
              My exercise plan is: ashtanga yoga 4-5 times weekly (I'm doing it about 3-4 times per week now), and I'd like to do the couch-5K challenge thingy I saw posted somewhere:

              I'm so so determined...maybe desperate is a better word... to lose some weight!

                since joining this board, i have lost about 53 pounds, and i am 11 pounds away from onderland, 2 pounds away from my bmi being 29.9; which means i will no longer be obese, i have lost quite a bit of inches, and i am also 7 pounds away from the halfway point of meeting my overall weight loss goal.

                it has not always been easy, but i figured if i have made it this far, than i can keep going and feel better about my self physically and health wise.

                  Since I'm only in day 2 of re-induction gimme until the last day of the month!
                  1st Goal ~ 199 Onderland -Met 3/29/10
                  2nd Goal ~ 174 No longer obese
                  3rd Goal ~ 150 In the home stretch
                  Final Goal ~ 145 or below (I'll know when I get there) No longer overweight

                  1) 35 pounds lost
                  2) 40 pounds lost to move to Rung 5
                  3) 45 pounds lost to update 15 pound loss picture series

                    Hi,
                    I'm on my third week and some day's are better than others. I was going strong until the 20th of this month which was the day my family celebrated my 38th birthday. I couldn't resist the Olive Garden and most definetly say no to a slice of my own birthday cake. I swore to get right back on the next day which I did and did well but come Monday I struggled all day and seem to go off and on all week. I haven't cheated since my birthday thank goodness but not for lack of wanting to. But I'll get over this hump cause I refuse to gain back what I struggled so hard to lose. Wish me luck u guys and gals.
