      Hi Kim,

Thank you so much, you're too kind...I appreciate you encouragement and support!

It's taken me 7 months to lose 100 lbs. I'm hoping the next 100 comes off nicely! I'm a wee bit nervous about it but very determined to stay focused and reach the next 100. I have 150 in total to lose as of this time.

I'm just taking it day by day...sometimes hour by hour .

It's really good to meet you!

                        Re: 100 Lbs Gone!!!!

You’re all so amazing, you have made my day! I’m overwhelmed by all your messages of support and encouraging words. I can’t begin express my appreciation…thank you all from the bottom of my heart! We’re all in this together and we’re going to get to our goals together and be healthy!

Gman, with regards to exercise… I do just over an hour each day on my glidder for cardio. Sometimes if I’m a bit too tired after a long day at work, I replace that with an hour walk outside but I try to stick as much to my glidder as possible because it’s more of a workout. I am also doing resistance training with weights (I’ve decided to lift heavy to try to avoid loose skin as best as I can) and resistance bands every other day. There are days though throughout the week I do 10 to 20 minutes of weights even if I just did them the day before. I have recently in the last month incorporated a stability ball each day into my routine and I’m up to 80 situps on it a day (Getting use to balancing on it was tricky! I thought I was going to go through the wall LOL!!!). Other than these things I also do a few other exercises like wall push ups, squats and waist twists. On some days in addition to working out on the glidder for just over an hour, I try to fit in an hour walk but that doesn’t always happen.

Since I reached a 100 lb. loss as of today. I have been mulling over how to fit a longer duration of weights and floor exercises for this next 100 lbs. I am quite concerned that I’m going to end up with a lot of loose skin, therefore, I think I’m going to try to wake up earlier and fit in an hour prior to leaving for work of just weights and floor exercises. I am a bit concerned about this next 100 lbs (due to loose skin) so I’m trying to do whatever I can right now to prevent that as much as possible.

Thank you all again, you’re sweethearts!

                          Sarina-
Excellent that you are doing cardio, plus weights.
On your concern, if you are not already doing this, you can use dumbbells while on the stablity ball. Examples:
                          - Abs while holding some light dumbbells up to your chest.
                          - Lay on your back and do flys where you lower them to the side perpendicular to the floor and raise up straight over you
                          - From the same position, press them up over you like a bench press.
                          - Sit and do curls
                          - Sit and do lateral raises
                          - Sit and do front raises
                          - Lay back and do tricep extensions over your head with one dumbbell
                          - Sit and to military presses straight up
                          - If you have a cable machine, with the cable positioned low, sit back and do rowing, curls, etc. with the cable pull for variety to work the muscles differently
And so on. It's fun with the SB and you are working your core while doing the other muscles with the weights
                          What do you think?

                              Hi Gman and Misnagid,

Wow! Thank you for compiling a list of exercises that I can incorporate with my SB, that's fantastic! I'm going to try some out shortly, I think they're going to be great. I appreciate you taking the time to share these with me, I need all the help I can get with ideas for tightening up my stomach and arms. I'm looking forward to incorporating them into my routine!

Thank you Misnagid for writing, it's good to meet you! Thank you for your kind words!
