  • Made it through 2 weeks of induction

I made it through the first 2-weeks of induction, not a cheat in sight!! I've been "doing atkins" for the last five years, it's been a yo-yo, stuck with it initially, lost weight, veered off course, gained half back, and every single time I tried to get back on track it would back fire on me, so I am so tickled that I made it through the last two weeks with very little issues! I just want to thank everyone out there who has supported me and guided me through this. I'm so thankful that I found this board because it has really helped me, the encouragement and everyone else's stories, struggles and accomplishments have been so inspirational. And the recipes are so awesome, I've not gotten tired of any one meal at all! I've had no diet soda for 14 days, that is saying something considering I was up to drinking almost a 12 pack a day...I'm just really excited about this and the best part, I've lost 9 pounds, 1 more pound to my first mini goal! Thanks to everyone here that has helped me through, I couldn't have done it without you!

Thank you Desertthorn, I'm rather excited! I've been scouring the OWL forums all night, I really want to do this right so I can just be "normal", if you know what I mean/

              Great Job!!!!
I love the veggie rung! I'm looking forward to it in a few days. I decided to work my way up the rungs again. Introduce new things as I go up, foods that I havn't added in before. Should be fun.
Good for you getting back on track and getting through Induction.
You're doing great! Keep up the fantastic work you're doing for yourself!

I love veggies, too, my favs are asparagus and artichokes, which I probably would have never discovered if not for atkins! Thanks for the encouragement, you guys are all so awesome! Good luck to you on stepping up the ladder! By the way your progress is amazing, I hope I can put up some photos with that kind of progress, too, soon!

                    Hi Tumtum,
Thank you, so much! It does feel good to get through it and realize that I can actually stick to it...I am moving up the rungs of OWL, I want to find my carb tolerance so that I don't get into bad habits of just eating whatever and then gaining back all the weight...I jumped around a bit and added dairy and berries first (pudding and strawberries) but I'm going to try to stick with the rungs, as close as I can. What about you?
