    Towel ... not bath sheet.

    Small victory but big all at once. I don't know the last time I could wrap my bath towel around me. Today I finally got the nerve to make an attempt and SWEET SWEET SUCCESS! I pranced around in that thing for a quick minute before slipping into my size 16's (down from 24's). Not a bad way to start Friday.

    Oh, I am waiting the day also. I never knew that they were called "bath sheets" until I was looking for a big bath towel for my daughter in law...who requested some for christmas...I was just thinking of a beach towel. she is a little bigger than me so I used my body to gauge it. Sure enough it was called a "bath sheet". I will be glad when I can just get a Large bath towel around my big butty.

        Beekel, WOW! Isn't it funny how the little things can really be the big things!

          Congrats! I know exactly how you feel because it was only recently that I stopped using two towels to wrap my body in after the shower. I can now use 1 towel. Keep up the great work!

            Congrats on your tangible, measureable results! Keep it up and pretty soon you'll be wrapping yourself in a dish towel - lol!

                Oh the dreaded bath towel, where you run covering your bum should you forget cloths:P I would deam that an amazing success, haha at the tea towel. Congrads

                  That is an awesome feeling, isn't it? and it follows right on the heels of getting in the bath and realizing you don't create a big dam between the front half and the back half of the tub!

                      momtomany! That is so true! that was the first thing i noticed when I started to lose weight- the water flowed freely in the tub and I didn't freeze my back half off when the water got cold. now instead of creating an air tight seal with my fat against the side of the tub, I have a 3.5 inch clearance on each side (my hubby couldn't believe I asked him to measure it....)

                          Isn't is great to measure our success in fun ways, instead of the scale or a measuring tape! Yesterday, I put on a t-shirt that used to be way too tight and now it is lose and I even tucked it into my jeans because I am getting my waste back. I was so happy that I did't weight myself today - this was all I needed. Congrats on your success!
