hi guys i just thought id share my delight with losing weight i started atkins 22 days ago and my scale has gone from just over 160 kgs to this morning 152 kgs i was so exited ive never really seen my weight go down like this .im still learning alot and this forum is awsome for inspiration and help .1 example was that i misread the label on my mayo it had nearly no carbs but has cane sugar added in the actual ingredients i was spewin cause i had been eating this stuff everyday for 2 weeks . but some members on here pointed it out to me so i just stopped mayo all together . same as my bacon i was eating bacon for the first 2 weeks but it has added sugar so i just cut the bacon out .my main meats are chicken and beef mince.[ i like to keep things simple ]. im still amazed at being so full and for the most part content of a day and losing weight . atkins is awsome cyas muz

1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
what the rungs mean to me:
rung 1 - more veggies
rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
rung 4 - berries, melon
rung 5 - wine -
rung 6 - beans, hummus
rung 7 - other fruits
rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
(on to pre-maintenance)
