I'm spending the weekend at the boyfriends house, and he eats gaaarrrbbaaageee!
So! I packed my own food, its all sitting nice and pretty in the fridge, and i'm going to be not only cheat free this weekend, but splenda/flax/and cheese free too. I've packed a little mini meatloaf (hamburger, italian sausage, onion and green pepper wrapped in bacon and cooked on the grill), half a leftover steak, some bacon, faux rice mixed with onion jalepano and tomato, summer squash, some radishes and i'm bringing all my romaine lettuce, along with some horse radish cause i'm addicted to the stuff. I think that'll last me, and if not, he said he'd run by the grocery store with me
awww
I made the mix for cheesecake clouds last night (just creamcheese splenda and vanilla as I dont have any unsalted butter) and I think I may have licked the spoon one too many times, as I did NOT enjoy what the scale told me this morning. So I took some strawberries my Aunt gave me a while back that have been just wasting space in my fridge since i'm not eating them, re-heated the cheesecake mix so it'd be workable, and dunked the strawberries in it. They're now sitting pretty on wax paper in my freezer, and i'm going to go drop them off at the boyfriend's parent's house! Out of kitchen, out of mind!
I know his mom was curious about trying splenda, so this might be the perfect opportunity to do something nice for the future in laws and get her interested in something healthier! And I wont be tempted to eat it! Everyone wins!
