Just wanted to bop in and post, I'm not new to Atkins but new to having the amount of motivation I have right now to do it and keep it going.
Anyway, I'm doing the happy dance over here! I put on a tee shirt and some sweats I have just worn last week and noticed that I didn't look nearly as lumpy along the sides, grabbed my handy dandy tape measure and wonder of wonders- I lost three inches!!
This experience came not a moment too soon as today I was faced with a massive sugar urge and wasn't at home bear my Atkins friendly options and knowing bout those inches was the only thing that kept me riding on the bandwagon happily chewing some sugar free gum rather than the candy bar that looked so good!
I currently have some meringue cookies made with splenda in the oven now to stash in the car so I never come that close to falling of the wagon again over something so silly!
