  • More than half way to GOAL!!!

    I have waited a long time for this!! I'm finally over the half way hump to goal!! The last 15 or 20 pounds have been quite a fight!! I lost 2 pounds in the past week and that's great BUT I've been hitting the exercise and staying completely on plan with the proper foods. I'm not sure what else there is to tweak!! Maybe some different foods. My body is probably too accustomed to the same things over and over. I'd really like to get into the 180's in the next 2 weeks and it's going to take much more effort, I am sure! Sure do miss those induction losses but every pound gets us closer to goal!!

        CONGRATULATIONS! That's terrific news. Can't wait to do the same. Eight pounds to go from my high weight.

            Thank you, ladies!! I appreciate your kind words!!!

            Now, if only the last half would come off as cooperatively as the first half. What the heck? I don't have anything else to do!! It hasn't happened as quickly as I'd like but I'll take it!!

              Congratulations! Keep up the good work and it will come off. I look forward to being in the 80's one day too!

                I just broke through the 80's to 179. Now that you are on the 'down side' don't be discouraged if your loss slows. I now fight for every pound, but keep in mind that each pound will now be a bigger percentage of 'you.' You are on a good roll with your exercise and I know you will be showing off goalie status in no time flat!

                      I'm hoping it doesn't slow too much!! I've fought for every pound for quite awhile now! Building muscle with the cardio and weightlifting has certainly added muscle mass (read:heavy)!! However, had I not lifted weights and exercised I wouldn't be wearing a size 14 at nearly 200 lbs. It's a trade off I guess but I wouldn't have it any other way. You're right about every pound now being a bigger percentage of "me." Yep, that's gonna be a tough one to accept!!

                          Thank YOU, Jimmie!! Your challenges have helped me get here...no question!! When I started, I thought there was no way I could lose my goal of 70ish pounds. I know now that I can!!

                          Now, I am almost off to Mom's to exercise and avoid her lasagna while still appearing to be social with the carb loaders!! Thanks again!

                            Blah, Blah, Blah.... Another celebration post at 196. Didn't we just celebrate like 3 pounds ago. How about really accomplishing something before we start a new post. Pathetic.... No dancing bananas for you. What's next, a party post for every even number you hit? I guess someone needs a hug.

                              Wow! Somebody needs a hug, alright!! By the way, I DESERVE dancing bananas!! I was thinking maybe I'll just PM you for every SINGLE pound I lose...how about that?? That ought to keep you busy!! Oh look, TJ, I've lost another pound since I posted this thread!! I'm sorry......

                              Yes, I know what your mission is! I'm not leaving you in the dust...you'll whoosh and I'll stall...that's our way!! If Mich Ultras and cardio really WORK, let me know!
