    Well, money is T-I-G-H-T right now!! Really tight!! I'm saving every penny to go out of state and get my man back!! I've decided not to reward myself too much with clothes. Closer to goal.....that'll be another story!! I did pick up some sweet smelling shower gel and lotion. If ever there was saggy skin, I've got it but the weight lifting and dry brushing are working. I figure I have to give my skin at least a year to catch down with my weight before I'm allowed to cry about it, right? I bought a hot chemise last week to cover the sag!! That will be enjoyed next weekend!

    Carole--thanks for the congrats!! We're still going strong and I am soooo proud of YOU!! Your cooking tips NO DOUBT have much to do with my success and I appreciate it!

      Congrats on y our success! It's ppl like you that make me want to stick with this even when I'm really down...like now =((

      It's been 1 months and I've lost only 10lbs which came off in the 1st 2 weeks...I'm disappointed.
      I know I should be happy, but I hear all these stories about ppl losing 25 or more lbs in the first month and I feel stuck.

      Good job for you though...

          That is such awesome news to share! You should post pictures so that we can ooh and aah over you!

          Mazzini - I am sorry you are stuck right now. I bethcha that there is a reason. You should post a sample menu. Are you staying on extended induction for too long? I always have a weight loss as soon as I go up to OWL. Your body gets used to a low number of carbs and you have to up them. Are you getting enough water? Exercise? There could be so many reasons. Talk to us.

          what the rungs mean to me:
          rung 1 - more veggies
          rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
          rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
          rung 4 - berries, melon
          rung 5 - wine -
          rung 6 - beans, hummus
          rung 7 - other fruits
          rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
          rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
          Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
          (on to pre-maintenance)
