Congrats on completing week one and for losing 10lbs!!

It helps when one finds the plan easy! Not everyone has that experience, so enjoy the fact that you are at least for right now. Keep coming to the boards for support and encouragement! It's also nice when you can offer it to others as well, and to share in your success's with everyone as well.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I guess when I said 'easy' I meant easier than I thought. I expected he** in a handbasket! I KNOW it will be way harder as I get closer to goal weight.

          Good luck to all!

Congrats on a great great start on your jorney to a thinner and healthier you!!! I got instant gratification on my start as well, so I know how you are feeling! keep in mind though... that it does slow down after those first 20 or so pounds. I struggled alot, wanting those instant results , and being frustrated that the numbers on the scale would not move for weeks at a time. but once i was doing this way of eating for more than three months, i noticed a pattern of losses. I avarage 10 lbs a month. Just know, that it took along time for you to find youself at the weight you are or, were. And it takes time for your body to adjust to those losses, and it takes time to get it all off. Don't ever give up... keep plugging away , and you will find yourself celebrating goals reached.

Thanks for the reality check Lacypie. Instant results is definitely the mode I'm in right now. Thankfully, from reading tons of posts, I've been getting a more realistic outlook. Slow and steady wins the race, right?

Congrats on your weight loss! 10 pounds a month is nothing to scoff at!
