I hopped on the scale this morning! I've been waiting for it! There is was. 172 pounds on the scale!
I have to say I'm not done yet. Goal says I have only 12 pounds to go. I'm sure I'll readjust and go lower than my current goal. I think I see more than 12 pounds of fat when I look in the mirror at my naked body! The weight is still coming off at a decent pace, so I'm just going to ride it out to figure out where my comfort zone is.
To the newbies and guests to the site reading this, I'd like to tell you something. When I restarted Atkins, I didn't think I'd make it nearly as far as I have. I didn't lose at lightning speed and there were days and weeks of really hard work, that I didn't lose anything on the scale. I cheated ONCE on Easter and paid for it dearly for weeks. This plan works if you work it. It really does! You do have to live the plan and you have to stick with it long enough for it to pay you back! There comes a time when your body clicks with everything, the food, the exercise, the vitamins and supplements and suddenly, your body has no choice but to comply with the change. If you're struggling, keep going. Just keep going in the right direction and your body WILL catch up (or down depending on how you look at it) with your mind, I promise!! Again, I never thought I'd get this far and my goal scared me but I'm almost there and have no doubt I'm only weeks from being there!

Thank you for the kudos and pats!! And I thought losing was the hard part....maintenance---YIKES!!! It ain't over till I quit breathing!! You weren't late to the party either, I know you were just making your grand entrance! I was waiting for you!!!
