Today my Dad agreed to eat dinner with us (he works 24/7 and we barely see him). So in celebration, i made dinner. I made spaghetti, meatballs, eggplant, spaghetti squash, broccoli and cheese soup, and homade ice cream. On top of that, my dad brought home a HUGE calzone, and Baklava, which he told me he brought especially for me, because he knows i love it.
Heres the best part. Im the while cooking all this food (which took 2.5 hours), watching my dad bring home my favorite foods, and hearing how good everything taste, i didn't cheat. I only age the spaghetti squash, meatballs, and eggplant. I only took a small bite of the cake to make sure the sugar was fine.
And also, these was a HUGE restaurant sized bag of oreos (which my dad brought because he has a few restaurants) right in the middle of the kitchen table. and oreos are my absolute favorite thing in the world. I STILL didn't cheat. I'm so incredibly proud of myself. Usually, i fall off the wagon around the end of the first week of induction, but with this incredible challenge, i know i'm not gonna fall
