  • Back to work with compliments

I'm a teacher, so I've had the last two months off. During that time, I lost 35 pounds. Today all the teachers at my school had a meeting to get ready for the new year, and everyone noticed. I am still made uncomfortable by the attention, but it's nice to know that people see the change in me (they also liked my new haircut!).

Congratulations, Casey! What a nice start to the school year. I bet your students will be impressed too. This is such better attention than when the opposite happens and people are whispering under their breath, "Geez, look at how much weight she gained." Ugh on that. Enjoy your "uncomfortableness"...you deserve it!!!

Thats a great feeling isn't it?? Even with the uncomfortable attention it brings it also gives you that huge smile inside that you did it.
