SIZE 8 and feeling GRRRRREAT!!!

I love Atkins!! Even while pounds have bounced back and forth, inches continued to disappear. I went to Kohl's yesterday and was doing the little victory dance in the dressing room mirror. I even took a picture of myself in the mirror and sent it to one of my best friends as we talked on the phone....she had to see me graduate to SIZE 8 jeans!!

SO MANY reasons to be delighted with size 8!!! I don't remember EVER wearing size 8, EVER. A single digit jeans size, oh, how nice!!! I restarted on December 28, 2008 in a size 18. HUGE HUGE difference! I know I'm not happy yet, still not satisfied, and there is size 6 to look forward to! The great news is, as you get closer to goal every few pounds really does make a difference and I know I can keep this momentum going!!

Thanks to all of you who have been a tremendous support on I would not be where I am without this board! Money is tight...and the 8's are a bit loose so I only treated myself to one pair but I couldn't deny myself owning one pair of 8's!!

Woot Woot Party Party! Congrats! I so look forward to being in smaller clothes...my closet is full of stuff that is too small to wear (tear)...but I will soon be bringing it all out!

Wow! 5' 9" and size 8 jeans must be so wonderfully slender. Smallest adult size for me ever was size 7 and I'm 5' 6".

No wonder you're feeling great! You deserve that! Way to lose, girl!

Chauber...just be glad you have small clothes to pull out of the closet. I went through a phase where I was stealing my sons shirts just so I had one that actually looked like it fit. He was very unhappy about that.

Mizski!! Your post was so funny! I'm just dancin' away, my friend!! Even this close to goal, it's still easy to get discouraged so I continue to take the small victories ANYWHERE I can find them!

I will be pounding the treadmill later as a part of my relentless pursuit of size 6!

Thanks, Loana!! I'm here to tell you...I actually skipped some sizes because I thought there was no point in trying some things on because they wouldn't fit. Size 14 was a surprise, I practically skipped size 12 and then was wearing size 10's. It is soooo possible. Stick with it!! You'll see!

this is no "small victory"!! way to go! you have given me added incentive to be good today....I am imagining me standing in that dressing room someday and saying "so THIS is how she felt!"
