  • I am a 1/3 of the way to my GOAL!

    Got through induction and now on an extended (modified induction)..just adding melon and nuts for one week.

    16lbs DOWN!!!!! and 32 to my MINI-GOAL! I am only 5'1 so any amount of weight loss shows whether I gain or lose, so this is a big difference for my 'hobbit' statue.

    I stepped on the scale this morning and it read that I lost 2.5 lbs OVERNIGHT!!! How is that possible??? I am LOVING THIS!!!!!
    I can really see my body changing and ready to take my second set of before pics. (not ready to post yet though...ugh.)

    I have so much energy today and have nearly cleaned the entire place and hit the gym at 8 this morning.
    I am lucky enough to have a neighbor friend that walks and hits the gym with me and we hold each other accountable. It has been great support. I also log EVERYTHING I put in my mouth in my journal and that helps WONDERS!

    GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU! PRESS ON !!!!! WORK THROUGH IT! IF you fall, brush off and GET RIGHT BACK ON THAT HORSE!!!!!

    I must now go skip around the house....

    Wow!! congrats! I'm at the start of wk 2 of my induction, I lost 8 the first week and hoping to lose close to that again this week I too am lucky enough to have neighbors who I meet at the gym or track to walk everyday. I definitely think working out daily makes a huge difference. You can tell you are full of energy, keep up the great work, can't wait til I'm at 169

      GOOD FOR YOU! Just keep that walking, even if you don't want to go that day...just say, OK, I'll go for at least ten. ...then when you get there, talk yourself into going ten more and so on. It works for me.
      The second week can go just as fast as the first, so kEEP GOING!!!! I am also doing the ketostix and trying not to step on the scale every single day. Its more encouraging to skip a few days at a time.

        First of all congrats!

        I am a firm believer of finding what works for YOU! thats the key here... yes, many people have had success by following the book page by page, and many can recite it, but finding what works.. and moving forward!
