  • Gooooal!

    Well, not my weight goal. I still have about 8 more pounds for that. But today I met a much larger goal.

    I started losing weight last year to join the U.S Air Force. After a year of weight loss and exercise, I swore in today! I came in 13 pounds under my max weight! Not sure what job or when my ship date will be, but just knowing I made it in is one of the greatest accomplishments I have achieved. Much of my success is owed to this great community! Thanks everyone for the support!

    Goal 1: 259 - DONE
    Goal 2: 240 - DONE
    Goal 3: 220 - DONE
    Goal 4: 200 - DONE!!!!
    Goal 5: 173 - 100 POUNDS GONE!

                  Congrats and as Kifl said, thanks in advance for dedicating yourself to serve your country to protect all of our freedoms.
                  1st Goal ~ 199 Onderland -Met 3/29/10
                  2nd Goal ~ 174 No longer obese
                  3rd Goal ~ 150 In the home stretch
                  Final Goal ~ 145 or below (I'll know when I get there) No longer overweight

                  1) 35 pounds lost
                  2) 40 pounds lost to move to Rung 5
                  3) 45 pounds lost to update 15 pound loss picture series

                      I will ONLY weigh once per week! I will refer to DANDR 2002 and this forum when I have questions. I will revel in new recipes, new clothes, and the new feeling of being happy in my skin. I will hold myself accountable to do this the right way, without excuses, because I know that Atkins is the best thing for my health and happiness. I. Will. Succeed!

                        Thanks to everyone for their very kind comments. Feels great to hit my real goal. Can't wait to lose the last little bit of this weight and finish that part of it up as well. Looking forward to being shipped out to basic in the next few months!
