Got on the scale this morning and was disappointed I didn't see the gazillion pound loss I hoped would be there. So I thought I would throw on some old clothes and at least get some chores done before work. After rummaging around for something to throw on, I found a pair of jeans that were really tight last summer (laundry is one of my chores). Boy howdy. Those jeans were baggy! I didn't realize just how baggy until I started walking out on the deck, coffee mug in one hand, crossword puzzle, work cell phone, and pen in the other and my jeans falling down around my knees. Luckily no one else was out and about (if they were I don't want to know). I feel pretty good- a bit embarrassed- but good!

For the life of me, I cannot understand how the inches can go but not the pounds. Does it mean eventually I will be a 249 pound size 10?Comment
