  • Starting over in Texas...uhhh

Hello to everyone. Just wanted to say hi and that I'm back. I'm off for the summer from my nursing school and I really need to lose 30lbs before the end of August. Is this possible? I need all the encouragement I can get. Good luck to all!!

    Welcome to the board!

My wife is a nurse so I know how stressful nursing school can be. As far as the weight by August goes, everyone is different and there are too many factors to consider. How much total do you have to lose? How metabolically resistant to weight loss are you? How commited are you? etc. But one thing I can say, if you do this you will be closer to (if not at) 30 pounds lighter than you would be if yopu didn't do this.

I wish you the best of luck!
    Jim

Thanks Jim. Honestly I would be happy with any weight loss because it's hard to give patients advice if you look obese your self. I'm going to call on a gym today and start going because I need lots of motivation. Thanks for the reply and you look grate. Congrats on your weight loss!! :icondance
