  • Hello from New York

Hello to all. I'm new to this forum and I'm so glad I found you all! I'm a 46 yo wife, mother and professional with a very busy life, diabetes and an extra 60 pounds to lose. My only dieting success in the past was Atkins, but I stopped, lost interest, and gained back the weight. I'm here again because my bg is out of control and I was given an ultimatum by my Dr. It's time!! Started LC 2 weeks ago and am down 8 pounds. BG is much improved and I'm here to stay. This time I have support - which I didn't have before. I know this forum will also be a valuable resource and support for me. Thanks!

    Welcome to the board!

Check out our diabetes forum, there is lots of good information in there. BG is one the first things people here report getting under control with this way of life.

Great job on the loss so far and good luck!
    Jim
