    Welcome back!

Weight loss greatly varies person to person, and depends a lot on your gender/age/metabolism/exercise level, etc. You will probably lose a good amount in the first week of induction due to water weight, but after that you will be losing fat, and that moves along much slower.

My average, so far and in the past, has been around 10 pounds/month. Of course there may be bumps in the road along the way, or stalls, or you might start gaining muscle but losing fat, so the scale may not show anything, etc, etc.

Anyway, give yourself a tentative weight loss schedule as inspiration, but don't rely too heavily upon that, as weight loss is very unpredictable and never linear!!

    Goodluck in your endeavors!

      Thankyou Mary-chan for your reply,

Greatly appreciated~ by seeing how much I could loose in a month gives alot of inspiration to keep at it, I am only on my 5th day of it, so hoping it will bring results. 5 months wouldnt be too bad losing this weight- can handle that.lol

      Thankyou again

        Welcome to ha :wave

Trying to guess how long it will take to lose the weight is like trying to predict how long a car will last. Depends on how well you stick to the plan, how much you exercise, etc.

Just follow the plan as written in the 2002 edition of DANDR, exercise regularly (and rigorously), drink your water, take your supplements and it WILL happen. Unfortunately, not on your time table ... but just keep at it and never ever give up or give in.

        YOU CAN DO IT!!
