:icondance wow i am really happy to find you all here. I have been doing the induction phase of Atkins for the past 3 weeks. the intention of starting atkins was because i needed a quick fix to fit into my bridesmaid dress for my sisters wedding on the 25th june. I cant believe how much i have lost and feel a whole lot thinner than the weight loss on the scales would imply.

I am now determined to shed those excess pounds once the wedding is over and atkins seems to be the best way to do it- no hunger, no deprivation. Its funny but i had convinced myself that i liked my size and that my weight didnt bother me- after years of yoyo dieting BUT now i have lost a bit ,painfree ,i like the way i feel and beguinning to look. I still need to shed 49lbs after losing an amazing 14 lbs in these first 3 weeks :icondance

3 weeks in though i am getting bored with my meals and need to look at different ways to prepare my food. I look forward to reading your tips and your success stories.

    love alison xxx ha

            Welcome to the board, Alison!

As you've already been told, the recipe section here is great. There is no reason to be bored with this WOE. I prefer boring, I eat what works for me, I'll get a little more adventurous a bit further down the road.

            Good luck!
