I'm new, a 22 y/o law student who has been on atkins for 2 years. i still have about 10 lbs left to lose until i reach my goal weight. recently i completed the dr. phil self matters workbook and swear it has changed my perspective on life completely. i would like to really buckle down between now and the end of august.

Welcome to the board! You know the plan works, so keep at it. How much have you lost so far?

    Good luck!

i have lost a total of 47 lbs in the past six years. most of that was achieved through low-fat low-cal dieting- (which sucked because i got to 1200 calories and had to count everything i ate...so now i can eat more...and stay slimmER).

      lets see-
pounds 55-35: low-fat/low-calorie, semi-low carb plan similar to south beach maintenance, but i didn't follow it like the book because the book did not exist at that time
pounds 35-25: lost when i went to college just by starting a workout plan
pounds 25-15: lost on very low-fat very low-calorie diet similar to the first plan only worse. gave up exercising and focused on nutrition entirely. eventually gave up diet as well but didn't gain anything back, upped calories for a year
pounds 15-10: lost on induction for atkins, stayed on atkins since
      pounds 10-7: lost on vacation/induction
pounds 7-0: still trying to lose but keep fluctuating
