    HELLO,
I'VE HAD A WEIGHT PROBLEM ALL MY LIFE AND TRIED EVERY DIET UNDER THE SUN. MY FAMILY ALWAYS TELL ME TO LOOSE WEIGHT AND I TRY EVERY NEW FAD UNDER THE SUN, I LOOSE A BIT BUT PUT IT ALL BACK ON. MY KIDS HAVE COMMENTED ON ME BEING FAT AND THIS REALLY UPSETS ME AS I WANT THEM TO BE PROUD OF ME. I AM DOING EXTENDED INDUCTION WEEK 4 AND HAVE LOST 6 KILOS WHICH MAKES ME 98 KILOS (WOO HOO) I HAVE'NT BEEN ABLE TO GET UNDER 100 KILOS SINCE MY TWIN GIRLS WERE BORN 6 YEARS AGO. I'M SO KEEN TO BE LEAN, NOT JUST FOR MY FAMILY BUT FOR ONCE FOR ME.
THANKS FOR LISTENING. BYE FOR NOW SUZYSLIM (AUSTRALIA)

Good to see you post about yourself. We all have been in similar shoes. I've been on the diet for about 6 weeks. I'm losing slow for various medication and health reasons but the inches are coming off with the diet and exercise. You will find that too. The ADBB is a great place to get the support you need to follow this plan, stick to it when you are discouraged, and just lean on when you get tired of eating all those vegetables.

I also use the FitDay.com site to help me in planning out my days meals to keep me on track. It helps me keep up with my carbs but I can also keep a record of my activity and keep an eye on my % of fat/carbs/protein. Welcome to the board and read and post often. It really helps you to adhere to the diet and get to know folks on the board and get that added support we all need.

Welcome to the board! I'm pretty new around here, but you've come to the right place to be inspired about a way of life that really does work. Keep up the great losses!
        Hugs,
