Hi everyone!! I have been reading this board for a few weeks now and I have something to say to all of you. Thank you. Thank you for having the best Atkins support forum I have found. You not only answer peoples questions but honestly care.
I'm sure you have all been to some of the bulletin boards about one thing or another and people won't even pay attention to you because you are not a "regular".
Well thanks to all of you, I started Atkins Sunday. I thought I would start Sunday this time instead of Monday because I seem to never succeed when I have started that dreaded day. LOL
I refuse to get on the scale for at least two weeks. I will say I feel thinner already. It's really strange. I like it
I am really suffering with sugar cravings though. I made the mock danish and love it. If you have any induction ideas for sweets let me know ASAP!!
I know things may be a more difficult for me because I am a recovering alcoholic and stopped cold turkey and this is day 62 of sobriety. I also quit smoking that day ( a pack a day). I think I started eating more sweets and carbs when I quit drinking. Maybe that is why I am struggling so much right now.
I am not feeling sorry for myself at all. I feel great. I plan on sticking to this and getting to know all of you. You are all so inspiring.
Thanks
Jenn
