  • Ant, London, 22

Hey! Well I'm a newbie on this site and all I can say is, it's great It's hard being an Atkins guy out there, the world is mean! lol.

Anyway, I love health and fitness and play lots of sports. Have fortunately never been over-weight but do suffer from a glucose intolerance / carb addictions, which of course Atkins corrects, among tonnes of other stuff.

I'm so impressed with some of the before and after photos I've seen, it's really promising stuff.

I'm presently in ketosis (as I do have a tiny bit of weight to lose myself; vanity I'm afraid, lol) and I've never felt better - no more cravings or an obsession for food, I'm eating vegetables for the first time ever! This is due to my sweet tooth being 'normalised' and my acne has cleared up - which was even resistant to laser treatment and Roaccutane (a prescription-only drug, you can't get anything stronger (or more damaging!)).

Well, look at me I'm going on and on, lol.

Ideally I'm looking for people to chat to, bounce ideas off of etc. If anyone is local meeting up for sports or just in person would be cool. But, to be honest, just anyone who is in the same boat as me - an Atkins lover (well, I am! Lol).

Hope to hear from you guys and gals soon, Ant

        Ant, WELCOME!

I have a few questions for you ... how much weight are you trying to lose? I see you are very active (GREAT!) and I am wondering what your total calories are per day?? How much fat, protein, carbs? What is a typical day's menu for you?
