  • Hey hey hey

Hi guys and gals, great board. I'm impressed with the volume of info and all the helpful members here

Let me see.. I'm 26/M/6'2"/251SW/242CW/185GW. My brother and I made the decision to try the Atkin's WOE a few months back, and we finally began the induction phase 9 days ago. We made the Atkin's choice in order to look and feel better as well as to avoid the bloodsugar, insulin, and heart problems that are so common in our family.

Aside from a few cravings, we've felt better since day 1. I haven't been tired, sleepy, or foggyheaded in the middle of the day at all! We made a few mistakes the first couple days like eating sugar-added sausage, eating too much cheese and drinking soda. I thought caffeine-free diet coke was ok . But, we've mended our ways and we're on the right path now hopefully.

We didn't think we were losing much weight, but tonight we weighed for the first time since day 1 and I'm pleased to say that we've both dropped 9 pounds.

Ok, I've rambled enough.. I'll be around a lot.. reading diligently. And I'm sure he'll show up too.. asking stupid questions and whatnot

    Thanks for the awesome forum!
