    Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forum and would like to begin the Atkins approach with a support system to reach my goals. I actually started my efforts 2 weeks ago when I realized I couldn't fit into my fall clothes. I have undergone some big changes in my life recently (got married, moved to a new town, gave up my job from my old town to be jobless, bought a home) and with the changes managed to pack on 15 pounds. I have really been trying in the last 2 weeks to exercise and eat healthy but I have not seen any results . I am really starting to become disappointed and I hope that I will start to see some changes soon before the urge to give up takes over. I look forward to getting to know you and sharing ideas!!!
    Here's to a new start!!

Thank-you all for all the wonderful support and suggestions so far. I wasn't on Atkins two weeks ago, I was just trying to adjust to the decaf and no sugar in my tea. I think I'm almost there....now I substistute corn at dinner for sugar JenDoe I couldn't help but notice that you are the same age, height and started at the same weight that I am at. That's really inspiring to me...Any tips to get started!

Corn? I am confused. Corn is totally not allowed on induction. Are you trying to just cut back on carbs or are you going into induction?

                      Re: Ready for results

I just looked at my atkins guide again and you're right corn isn't on the list. That sucks...I guess I'll have to settle for tomatoes if that's the closest I go get to a fruit

Where can I get a printable food guide?
                      What is DANDR?

By the way, I lost 4 pounds
I really couldn't do this without all of your support.
                      Thanks for keeping me going
