My name is Kelli and I am a 21 year old stay at home mom. I just joined the site and I would like to introduce myself. I am married to a Marine and have a 10 month old daughter, Amaya. We live in North Carolina. I have always been bigger, but my weight has also constantly fluctuated. I was a skinny kid until about 7 years old, then I was chubby. I'm not sure if I was fat or chubby, but anyhow big enough to not fit in with the skinny kids. In 10th grade I switched schools and I remember weighing 222 lbs. I was miserable then. The summer after tenth grade I got a car and liked boys and took diet pills, I believe it was Phen fen before it became illegal. Anyhow I went from a size 20 to a 13/14. I wasn't thrilled about my size, but I had plenty of boyfriends so I wasn't doing anything to change it either. My first year in college I got pregnant. During my pregnancy I went from about 190 lbs to 251 at my last prenatal appt. I then had my daughter on Valentine's Day of this year. At my six week checkup I think I weighed around 230 something and today I am only a few pounds less than that. I think I wiegh 227. I just started Atkin's today and I think my goal weight is 150. When I get to 150 I might set a new goal. I am a member of a gym, so hopefully working out a few days a week, eating the Atkin's way, and drinking plenty of water will get this weight off of me.
