    Hi
    Im liz from the UK, 30 yr old mum of 2 daughters 5 & 7, keeper of *the fat ****. I
    work part time at a Drs sugery, data entry(yawn).
    Have tried everydiet in the universe and still havent ever got down to what i'd like to weigh for longer than a few weeks.
    Im 5'1 talll and weigh 11s 4.5lbs (last weds weight when i started induction)
    I dont have urealistic expectations of being a stick. just to get down to 9.5 st again so I can fit in my motorbike leathers that I bought last yr would be nice.
    I used to be a reg at the gym 3-4 times a wk running 3 miles at a time on the treadmill and I really loved it, but stopped going when after 8 months I still weighed the same and looked no different except knackered
    I have PCOS Im told that hinders weight loss. but as im not obese, or trying to concieve I am not under any treatment or eligable for it.
    My dads in hospital after having a heart bypass and he has diebetes. my mum has heart disease also So i really have to try and break what Ive inherited aand shift some of this fat

    So thats me. day 6 of induction which my bf has also joined in on
    will let you know how it all goes

    Welcome, and best of luck. I have become a much bigger fan of Atkins for the health aspects of the diet, in addition to the weight loss. Good to have you here.

          Stick with this programm: it works.
          Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
          he said, 'Don't count calories.'

          Atkins makes exercise mandatory - I took up cycling - see last pics at 203lb.
