  • I am New to the ADBB...

    Hello My name is Terra.
I am from Good Ole Michigan
I am currently 240 lbs, goal weight is 170 lbs, ultimate goal weight is 150 lbs.

I have been doing WW for the past 4 months and have lost weight, but would like to be able to lose more a little faster as well as get away from the "bad" carbs (white pasta, white rice, white flour, over processed foods, etc).
I have a hard time during the holidays to stay on WW because most of the food is higher in Protein and FAT...I missed out on deviled eggs and prime rib this past thanksgiving. NO MORE. LOL

I have been lurking around this site and was hoping I could join in on a bootcamp, I think they really help a newbie plus, a person that needs several swift kicks in the rear to stay on program.

My goal is to get healthy so me and my DBF of 10 years can start trying to get prego. We are going start trying next year, but my weight has been my biggest concern. I am not looking to be a supermodel (those days are gone), but I am looking at getting around 170 lbs to start, ultimate goal is 150.

I come to this group with open arms and an open mind.

    Welcome
Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
    he said, 'Don't count calories.'

Atkins makes exercise mandatory - I took up cycling - see last pics at 203lb.
