  • New to Induction

Hey everyone I am glad first of all that there is a site with information as hardy as this one. I am starting the Atkins induction tommorrow and plan on keeping up with my exercise as well. I have been reading the book and was told by fellow Atkins friends that I can skip to the two week induction portion, but have found through reading some personal stories that I will need to finish the book. So thats my plan for this week along with induction. I hope to give a great progress report after the first two weeks, and probably will go three weeks depending on the weight loss results.

Wish all good look and Merry Christmas

Skipping the two week induction? Holy crap! That is missing the whole point! The first two weeks are what change the body into the fat-burning machines they become! It helps us de-tox from the junk currently poisoning our systems. Without the first 2 weeks, what's the point? This would just be the South Beach Diet!

I'm glad you aren't taking their lead... and you will be too! I very much look forward to following your progress! Welcome to ADBB.

I think she meant she can do the two week induction while she reads the Dandr, that she doesn't have to complete the book in order to start?? I hope thats what she means.

yep CLeo it says skipping to the two weeks

Welcome to ADBB and to Atkins glad you decided to read the whole book but your friend is one of thosde folk who puts things together by skipping the steps with the words and just looks at the picture of the finished thingy.

You are going to find lots of info and reasons why things are happening and why you can't have just one candy and still do your atkins for example.

What you doing for your exercise part? you can join any and all of our exercise challenges you want to and share in the fun and hard work and sturggles and celbrations as you morph your body to the healthier smaller person you want to be.

            Happy low carbing.
