    Hello Everyone,
    I am on day 5 and have been doing pretty well, however i'm really confused on my weight loss. When I started we had a not-so-reliable scale and I was prompted to go out and buy a new, accurate digital scaled on about day 3, so I'm not sure what the "accurate" scale would have read at the beginning. But now...on the start of day 6 i'm just about the same weight as I was on day 3. Am I doing something wrong? Is this normal? I've just been eating for lunch/breakfast a 4 carb tortilla with cheese and then for dinner like a burger with no bun and cheese and on occassion i'll have a few beers at night. Am I doing something wrong??

    If you are doing induction then the beer and the tortillas are wrong. How much water are you drinking and how much exercise? And where are the veggies?

      I'm doing canned green beans, broccoli, mushrooms, i will admit that i have had a hard time drinking all that water. The beer is 2.5 carbs per bottle...can't I coun't that in my 20 g's per day? The tortillas are 3 g's for each one. If those are counted in the 20 per day is that not ok?

        No it's not ok. Do you have the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution book? You can only eat what is on the acceptable induction food list and most of those 20 gms of carbs should come from your 3 cups of veggies. What are you doing for exercise?

          I've been doing about a two mile walk on the treadmill about every other day.

            Hey joe,i am afraid to tell u that ,u will have to read the book thoroughly!!
            no beer/no starch for u yet,atleast first 2weeks ,tortilla is a big no no during induction and beer comes even later than that.
            Read the Book thats the best thing i would say

              You can find the induction exceptable foods list on the Atkins site, I have seen the link around here just look or do a search

                Hi Joelle,

                Welcome to ADBB and Atkins.

                You've got the 20 carbs idea, but not the acceptable foods for a clean Induction.
