  • Another Newbie has arrived!!!!

    Hello,
Rafaella is here , and I am a Newbie!
I started Atkins WOL Dec. the 4th 2005 with a success of 5 lbs off as of end of the induction phase. I believe that I lost some more weight since the begining of my LC WOL, but I will not weight myself until I have a picture for about 1 month or more.
I can feel my pants are bigger and my energy level is higher. I got Dr. Atkins book and I am into LC recipies and cooking "ideas." I am looking forward to chat with many wonderful members of this site and to learn more about LC WOL.
    Peace,
    Rafaella.

Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',

Welcome to ADBB. Congratulations on your success so far. I read your other post in the Main Atkins forum, and saw where you ate Dark Chocolate and fruit still. What rung of OWL are you on right now?

Anyhow, I wish you the best and look forward to seeing your success photos.

                  Re: Another Newbie has arrived!!!!

                  Thanks, guys,
I am post induction, so I am suppose to add 5 carbs /day.... I know, I know, I know...
Sometimes it is 5, sometimes, it is 10. I try to compensate in all areas. I do only Splenda, water, sugar free jello and whipp - cream. I love coffee and ocasional chocolate. When I do the chocolate, I eat lighter than usual. So, Kent, I do understand about the low carb and chocolate, it is just the fact that I cannot do away with everything I used to have. I do it slowly but surely. Desides, dark chocolate offers lots of antioxidants and other protective qualities againts cancer and heart attack.
And , trust me, I AM TRYING........
I just wanted to say " thanks" for warm welcome to your great group!
