  • Hi All!!

    Hi all!! My name is hydraturnback (strange I know) and I officially started this WOE yesterday (1.1.06)
    This is the 3rd time I have come back to Atkins - mainly because I know this works - and I have been stupid enough to keep giving up.. but not this time - THIS IS IT!!!
    I have actually been visiting these boards for some time now, and finally joined up - so it will be good to chat with you all. I know that this forum has helped many, so it will be a great way to keep going on the road to wellness!!

    I am currently 122.5kg (270 pounds) and my 1st goal is 90kg (199 pounds)

    Ummm.. long way to go heh???

    So i am on day 2, and the bacon and eggs went down very well!!!

    I am sure if there are any questions I will come running.

    welcome to ADBB and back to Atkins. SO what you planning to do for the exercise part of your Atkins? we got lots of exercise challenges you can join.

      Hi 2big!!
      Well, my plans were to:
      1. Get into Ketosis (what joy!!)
      2. Do some brisk walking for the first week (and see how i go)
      3. My aim on the second week would be to start to jog (maybe half and hour a day - Just see how i go)

      Obviously the importance of exercise is paramount for day to day living - I guess the quicker i get into it.. the better??

        Welcome! Nice to see another Aussie! There is also LCDave here somewhere, he is in Melbourne too. This is a great way of eating - good luck with it.

              Thanks for all the kind replys.

              It had got to the point where enough was enough. I had to do something!!
              It is so heartening that there are many people in my position!!

              And also browsing this site, some of the before and afters are a real inspiration.
