  • UK Newbie due to start induction soon!

I've put on loads of weight since starting university and lost it and put it back on again plus more with final year being what it is. My Dad was on Atkins for a year and lost a significant amount of weight. I thought well great, at least i know this works. I came across this board by chance and i know i need some kind of support to keep myself going. Motivation is a problem for me, so it would be nice to speak to people going through the same thing!

Hi Katsy and welcome to and Atkins!

Oh yes, you'll get lot's of support here and we're all going through the same thing in varying degrees!

If you're getting read to start Induction, check out the 14 Day Induction forum. There's a bunch of great information, sticks and FAQ's to help you get started. Plus people in the same phase, so that's a help all by itself!

Have fun cruising around the board and becoming familiar with everything! Oh, and if you haven't already, try to pick up a copy of the Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002)!

    See you around the board!

      Welcome
Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
      he said, 'Don't count calories.'

Ta for all the replies! I've got a copy of the book Sheshy and am building a shopping list at the minute. Amy-Rocks, uni is evil for putting on weight isn't it? It's been up and down all my life but coming to uni has caused the biggest losses and gains .
