I had a lot of success with the Atkins WOL in May/June of 2004. I went from a 20 to a 12 and I looked great and felt great. Well, I went to college, stayed the same weight -- I was so proud -- but then I got engaged and got pregnant. Nothing has been the same since. I was 215 at the time before I got pregnant. By the end of my pregnancy I had skyrocketed to 294 pounds and barely could move. I was put on bedrest. It wasn't because of overeating, but it was because I was pre-eclampsic, I had gestational diabetes and water retention up the YOU KNOW WHAT!! My blood pressure was sky freakin high. After pregnancy I just never was the same and it's depressing me. I look TERRIBLE. I'm 244 right now and I just want to be thin again. My daughter is 3 months old today, and I want to be fit and thin by the time she's old enough to want me to play with her. I want to have fun with her, run around, do fun stuff, but I'm afraid if I don't do something about my weight, I won't get to. It's already effecting me negatively. I went to the doctor with severe foot/ankle pain recently, and he said the weight is putting stress on my ankles. I'm developing severe arthritis and collapsing arches because of my weight. If I don't do something about it soon I'll be in severe pain and I won't be able to do the things I want to do with my daughter. My weight is endangering me!! That's my motivation. My baby.
