    Newbe to Induction

    Hey Ya'll,
I am new to the Induction period. I have just started nursing school and was tired of feeling sick and tired, plus who wants a fat nurse!! I have tried almost everything with no lasting results. I began Atkins on Mon.,Jan.2 after just having enough over the holidays. But, I am really tired and fatigued with headaches. How long will this last? And, when does the energy begin? I am so looking forward to more energy! Thanks for any help!!!

You should feel better in the morning.
    Are you drinking your water?
    Have you read the book?
    Are you exercising
    Are you taking your supplements.
If it continues, post a couple days menus so the experts can take a look.

Welcome, and good luck. I havent started my induction yet but i'm right behind you. Sorry to hear about the headaches but as everyone seems to agree they do pass within a few days.

        Hi and welcome to mwalsh!

You're taking the first steps to get control, good for you! Yeah, Induction flu can make you feel kind of crummy, but it'll be fading in a few days, no worries!

        Have you started exercising?

Dang the board eat my reply.

          Welcome to ADBB

Did you give up caffeine as part of your start of induction? that can give you major headaches for several days. Also if you are not drinking all your water cause the natural diuretic nature of Atkins can really dry you out too causeing headaches. if it is just the carb withdrawls then you should be feeling better in a day.
