hello all!
I've read here quite a bit this week and it has helped motivate me in my weaker moments. I was here a couple of years ago as didylou but I haven't been able to get re-entry with that signature so here I am as Didy.
I did lose weight on Atkins starting in Aug of 2003. I kept 60-70 pounds off for about a year after losing it.
Since May of 2005, I married off 2 daughters, we lost everybody's favorite aunt to a sudden cardiac arrest, and lost a dear father-in law to cancer. I went back to work full time (was part time for 20 years), and my daughter miscarried.
Unfortunately, I re-discovered stress/comfort food and returned full throttle to my former way of eating.
I've restarted Atkins a couple of times but on Jan 2 I began strict induction. With your help I think it may stick this time. 6 pounds in 6 days gone! Just like before.
I believe I have found a great resource here. I hope to add to the volumes of encouragement and experience I've noticed so far.
