Hi guys .... another Newbie here..lol

Hi, my name is Kay and this is my first experience with bulletin boards.I started atkins on Jan. 2 and have already lost 13 pounds. I saw this site and thought it was the coolest thing I had ever scene.Me and my husband tried Adkins last year for about a month and lost 20 pounds, but unfortunatly got board with it and cheated. This year though I am determined to do it.Actually.... I HAVE TO DO IT! ...and I just have to say I have looked around in here and am amazed by the results and the support that everyone gives to each other.

Hi, Kay. Glad you found the ADBB. It is a great source of support and education.

Congrats on your accomplishment so far and look forward to seeing your posts.

PS. There are some great Atkins recipes in the food forums...don't get bored with the same ol' menu. Try some of the great new menus. Some are really yummy!

          Hello,

I'm not new to this WOL (as you will see by my sig. line) and don't understand why I continue this vicious circle when I know that this WOE works and improves the way I feel and look. I start off strong and prematurely end with a big flop. I realize that my eating is emotional and I am determined to stay the course this time. I've gained my weight back ++ and have noticed the exhaustion and increase in my blood pressure. I hope to begin re-induction tomorrow and make use of the wonderful support of the people on this site. Here's to day one 011406.
