Greetings all from Pittsburgh, PA!
My name is Deb and Im no stranger to the Atkins WOL. 2 years ago I was on my way to my GW after losing 45 lbs when I began to battle female health problems. I am also a diabetic on an insulin pump. Anyway, I had an abdominal hysterectomy in Aug 2005 and completely fell off the Low Carb wagon, not being able to work out at Curves and feeling awful about the surgery...so needless to say, I gained all I had lost and then some!
I am currently on week 3 of induction and am doing well. I have lost 6 lbs so far and started back to Curves yesterday (was weighed and measured, too!). While waiting to be approved to post on this website, I spent a lot of time reading thru some of the forums. This place certainly seems to be a supportive and encouraging group so, I think Ill stick around.
Looking forward to joining the ranks of all successful Atkins losers!
Thanks for being here,
Deb
