  • Here I go AGAIN!

Hi all. New to the board. I've been searching for some inspiration to get back on Atkins and STICK TO IT. I've tried it too many times to count and was successful at it once. I lost some weight and started to feel better but once I cheated, that was it. I weigh more now than I did when I was nine months pregnant. I look awful and feel worse. I'm only 34 and I'm on a destructive path with food. I'm an addict plain and simple. I'm going to give this thing another shot and now that I've found this board, MAYBE .. just maybe I can stick with it this time. I have a terrible time with induction. Horrible head aches, tired, etc. It's going to be a rough couple weeks. I'm starting tomorrow because I've already BLOWN today. Anyone with easy recipes to keep it interesting PLEASE SHARE!

I'm really depressed at this point because I'm starting again after having failed so many times, why should this time be different? I've got to do something. My life is waiting and right now, I'm not much fun to be around.

I thought 220 was horrible but now the scale says 235-240. I can't believe I just typed that. My back hurts, my feet hurt, I get out of breath when I climb the stairs. Its ridiculous.

Tomorrows the big day! Wish me luck, and any food ideas to keep it interesting are much appreciated!

Welcome Amy! I find it best to take this one day at a time. Pledge to yourself that for just this one day, you are going to stick to it. When you make it through, you'll be proud of yourself and will be able to it again tomorrow. After the first few days, it gets so much easier. I'm so glad you joined us here.
