    Hello to all ADBB's! Would like to introduce myself I am Dana from Ontario on my fourth day of induction. I love the food and it is simple enough. I am glad I picked up a used treadmill last week since we've had 4 in of rain yesterday and 4 in of snow today.
    I have a couple of questions:
    1 . how and when should I be taking my vitamins/minerals and chromium. I am unsure of amounts and at what times to have the most benefit.
    2. when is the best time to take a ketosis sample

    It depends person to person on when to take your vitamins. I feel they are most beneficial to me if I take a multivitamin directly after I work out and a B vitamin in the morning for energy. I've noticed a great reduction in recovery time when I take a multi after my workout. As for the chromium, I don't take it, so I'm nto sure.

    Do not test first thing in morning. Fasting (as after not eating or drinking all night) wouldn't give the true reading. Eat first and then about two hours later, do the test.

    Do not wait more than 15 seconds to read the strips since the color that goes after the 15 second mark is NOT accurate.

    Women, do not test when having your period as blood interfers with the reading as does pregnancy.

    Definitely no testing after exercise.

        Hi cottagebound and welcome to !

        If you have any other questions on Induction, check out the 14 Day Induction forum in the Atkins phases portion of the board. There's a ton of support, experience and knowledge in the forums!

        Oh and if you haven't already, check out the other forums, there are some that specialize in information like vitamins and such!
