  • Hello ... I'm makin' a go at it!

Hey all! I'm here because I am also, making a go at this. I actually started on January 7th. It's been almost a month. I think I've been doing pretty bad though as I've only lost 12 pounds. I'm no stranger to this diet plan though. Just someone who fails to stick with it. If I could lose one pound for each time I've tried this diet in the past 7 years ... well, let's say I wouldn't be here. lol

There's really no excuse. I know it's healthy, I know it makes me feel better but ... I just can't seem to get past being strict with the induction.

I'm TIRED of eggs!! Tired of salads and tired of cheese! I joined ediets.com and it's helping me come up with creative meal plans.

I thought I would join this group though, for the added support that I can't seem to find in person anywhere else. So ... I'll be around. I see lots and lots of threads that I think will get me over this hump and STICK with it this time.

I've been keeping myself in "induction" because ... well, I keep starting over.

Wish me luck! And ... any HELP is appreciated! Best to all of you also!

Hello and welcome! A 12 pound loss is great! Way to go! Try making your eggs a different way or have them only a couple times a week instead of every day. Have a steak for breakfast. That's the great thing about Atkins...you can have the acceptable foods ANY TIME OF DAY! lol

Are you drinking your water and exercising? They are absolute musts for Atkins.

Remember how it feels to try this so many times and fail. Don't fail this time. You CAN do it! You WILL do it!

If you help me stick to it, then I will help you. I started today! I need your support and I will give you mine in return. The only thing I find myself doing is wanting a sweet snack at night when I am sitting around. I am fighting really hard to stay away. Wish me luck! I wish you luck also, we can do it.

Hi apopson and welcome to and back to Atkins!

Hey I think you're loss is great...12 pounds in a few weeks, great! And this is an excellent place for support, you'll get the encouragement to keep going...exercise, drink your water, follow the plan...

If you're getting tired of your regular meals, check out the recipe section and get some ideas.

            See you around the board!
