  • 2 Days in!!!

Ok, so I just started yesterday and I can tell you I was pinging bad for something sweet to eat, but I didn't give in!!! I ate what I was suppose to, read the book over and over again and drank lots of water!! So, I've decided when I really want something "bad" to eat, I'm going to come to this website and read and get my mind off of it. I know I can do it and I just need to get through these first few days.

Congrats! Thats a great start. I started recently too, been following the plan, lots of water and exercise and of course read the book. The boards seem like a great place!

Bacon, cream cheese, anything high fat will help you beat your cravings. They go away fairly soon after you hit ketosis. KUTGW!

Hi Michelle70 and welcome to and Atkins!

Good for you on fighting the craving, luckily they will be lessening soon! And Fluffyman is so right, it you need something, make it something fatty and it really helps with the craving.

Have fun exploring the board! See you around!

Hi, I'm new too! I also come here when I feel temptation coming on. I try to not think of things I can't have and instead think of what I'm allowed to eat. Try it!

                  Re: 2 Days in!!!

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. I have completed 2 full days, but getting bad headaches. Maybe from the lack of sweets? I'm not sure.
Fllowcarber recommended Induction Boot Camp and I'm not sure what that is? If someone could clue me in...I'm sure it will help!! Again, thanks everyone...

Hi Michelle! Your headaches will get better, it's probably just the change in eating. Drink your water!
