So here I am .. 50 (going on 35) yr old English Musician keen to regain some of his previous shape .. not ludicrously overweight, but could do with losing about 20 lbs. I've done Atkins before and it's worked .. but ... I love beer sweet things, Pasta and rice .. so from time to time need to ge back on the wagon. Creeps up on me then I realise I'm in a size up pair of jeans!
Been doing the diet this time for a week now .. no alcohol (hard for a man who drinks everyday .. not much but everyday) and caffeine (at last after 5 days the headaches have subsided).
Back in the gym 3 days a week for 45 mins .. plus saunas .. walk lots daily past cake and sweet shops!!
Loads of water .. and am doing ok .. about 6lbs so far .. want to be down to 14st 7 .. maybe by May.
I love a top ten tips response to this .. I'm surprised at my iron will so far.
